Relationships: what would you do?

My friend Jess is going out with this boy Elliot. I really really like him but i only after i started hanging around in his group. Jess is only in that group because of me, so i an ironik way i brought them together. He really really likes her but he also said he thought i was really hot and funny, we were having a long chat when we were both drunk and he was talking about jess and then later he said my boyfriend is an idiot for chating on me because i'm awsome, (me and my bf are over now) and hot and funny and he'd always thought so... and then he went in to kiss me but this guy came over (this was when him and jess were just 'seeing eachother') I also kind of convinced him to ask jess out, because i love her (in a BFF way). I really realy like him, but i can do nothing about it. btw jess is super beautiful.
