Who else thinks Electoral Voting is Ridiculous/ It should be Popular Voting?

I find it really absurd that we cant just use popular voting for presidential voting. With popular your vote actually counts and isn't wasted. When you vote there should be a majority of the nation. The Nation is UNITED. WE ARE ONE COUNTRY. So all people together. I find it stupid that someone can win electoral votes but lose popular vote and become president, meaning they get elected without the majority of the people.
