Are these good questions to ask my counselor?

i am interested in a career as a math teacher. should i ask about the pay, the benefits of this job, how i get my credentials, what should my major be, and other things like that? also i am thinking about asking if the school offers the PSAT to freshmen. do you think these are good questions to ask? also do you guys know what the difference is between a teaching credential, a teaching certificate, and a teaching license? and should i ask about what type of test do i have to take to become a teacher and will there be exams i need to take before i can take cles at college(other than the SAT's). and when is the best time to look for scholarships, and do you have to be a junior or senior to apply for a scholarship or can anyone apply for these scholarships? and how many letters of recommendation do i need for colleges and scholarships? if you can answer any of these questions feel free to help, if not i will ask my counselor about these questions.
