Credit Cards?

What if everyone turned in there credit cards, or canceled them. Maybe the credit card companys would get more reasonable with there charges? or interest rates? Or if no charged more than $500.00 total? I wouldn't have another card, ever. I don't have one now, I don't like the underhanded tactics.
