How Do You Know if You Kissed Him/Her Right the First Time?

I Had my First Kiss today, and well I'm not sure what I was doing when he opened his mouth, I just opened mine and went along with it, and I had his saliva on my bottom lip, and he had mine on his. I brushed my teeth and I was eating Skittles, so it couldn't of been that bad? He kept asking for more and more kisses from me so he must of liked it?? Did the Saliva part sound wrong?
