What is really american intention of increasing troops in Colombia ?

I think that the attack to narcotraffic is only a pretext to keep military base for a long time in order to avoid the socialism expansion in south american, but you must be aware that you've lost a Vietnam war, I don't believe you aren't suppose to lose a war at jungle again.
